Welcome to the Anglian Eagles!
This is an amazing opportunity for a vibrant group of young, talented players from across the East Region, both boys and girls, to shine. Players in Year 7 & 8 compete and train at a performance level, facing off against some of the best in their age group. With expert coaching from our passionate and professional team, we prioritise fun and enjoyment every step of the way.

The Anglian Eagles have competed over the last 3 years at the UK Lion Tournament. We have strongly competed in the cup competition and in 2023 we were crowned Girls National Cup Champions.
The UK Lions tournament is a three-day event, fostering lasting friendships through the sport of hockey while elevating individual skills. More information on the UK Lions can be found here.
How it works?
Players are selected for the team through a trial process held over three dates. We will choose 18 squad members to participate in the tournament, along with non-traveling reserves who will be involved in the training sessions and may be called up in the event of any injuries within the main squad. Following selection, there will be five training sessions held at various locations across the East in preparation for the tournament. Please look at the 2025 Information page to find out more!
